Premier League club West Ham United have been one of the unbelievable clubs to watch this season and have shocked a lot of people with how well they have progressed in the current campaign. They are currently one of the clubs fighting for a top-four finish and could end up playing Champions League football next season if the odds work in their favor.
They have started making plans on the players they want to sign in the summer and they could well be close to pulling off a surprise signing. So far this season, David Moyes's has transformed the club into genuine top-four hopefuls and although it will not count as a failure if they end up not finishing the season in the top four of the Premier League table, they would still fancy the idea of being in the elite competition next year.

FC Cincinnati have finally completed the signing of one of the Mexican League's finest players Luciano Acosta and the player will link up with his new club with immediate effect so he can join the squad in preparations ahead of their pre-season games. Acosta is joining Cincinnati Football club from Mexican outfit Atlas Football Club and his move to the Major League Soccer has finally been confirmed after several weeks of the MLS outfit tracking the player.

A statement containing fixture schedules has been released by CONCACAF as the eight teams in the competition have now known their fate as regards who they will be playing against and when. The CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying games have been scheduled to be played in Guadalajara, Mexico, between the 18th and 30th of March later this year.
The competition was initially announced to hold in March last year, but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the tournament was postponed to a further date. The Tokyo Olympics were also postponed to this year as a result of the virus outbreak as well.

Mexico international striker Raul Jimenez has shown the scar he got from the head injury that has ruled him out of action for two months. The Wolverhampton Wanderers star showed the head injury scar while he was in attendance for the Black Country Derby in the Premier League at the weekend. The Black Country Derby is usually contested between Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Brom.
The Mexico national team player was missing for the derby game as expected as a result of the injury. The scar on his head was visible as he sat in the stands to watch the league game between hosts Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Brom in what was the first game of week 19 set of matches in the Premier League. The Black Country Derby was played at the Molineux on Saturday lunchtime.

Gold Cup champions Mexico are one of the few teams with a lengthy unbeaten run in international football after the latest set of games played earlier this month. Mexico took their unbeaten run to ten games after the two matches played during the recent international break.
Mexico have not tasted defeat since they were thrashed 4-0 by Argentina last year. In the friendly game played at the Alamodome Stadium in San Antonio, Texas on the 11th of September in 2019, Argentina scored all the four goals in the first half.

The coach of Mexico Gerardo Martino says Spanish side Barcelona only cares about titles managers win when the season ends. Martino managed the defending La Liga champs for only a term in 2013/14 after Tito Vilanova took ill. LA Galaxy didn't enjoy the kind of start they would have hoped for last weekend. They were held by Houston Dynamo. A match that ended 1-1. The match also marked the league debut for Marquee signing Javier Chicharito Hernandez. The Mexico international joined LA Galaxy from Sevilla. He was signed as the direct replacement for the departing Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede left MLS football at the expiration of his contract last season. He returned to Europe to join former side AC Milan.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez is being rumored to be actively pursuing a career away from the West Midland. The Mexico international has had stints at Atletico Madrid and is believed to be favoring a return to Spain above every other option out there.
After trying out his hand at Atletico, the presence of much established strikers made it impossible to become Diego Simeone’s number choice as striker. Benfica was the Mexican forward’s next stop but even the Iberians felt he didn’t align with how they wanted to play and what they expect from him as a striker. A loan to Wolves was the best deal they could come up with and after being impressed with what they saw, the powers that be decided to make his loan spell a permanent deal.
He remains an integral part of the team and news of his imminent departure has brought a little of anxiety into the West Midlands.
