PREMIER LEAGUE: WOLVES, NORWICH IN STALEMATE

Body:

Norwich City manager Dean Smith has made a fantastic start to life at Carrow Road after he picked up four points from two league games including the stalemate with Wolves on Saturday evening.

Smith became the Norwich City manager earlier this month following his appointment in the place of the sacked Daniel Farke. He took the Norwich City job some days after Aston Villa made the decision to relieve him of his duties on the back of a five-match losing run.
In his first game as the Norwich City boss, Smith led the club to an impressive 2-1 win at home to Southampton. His team had to come from behind to claim the three points. The Saints took the lead through Scotland national team striker Che Adams before goals from Finland international TeemuPukkiand Grant Hanley either side of the half-time break turned the game on its head as Norwich City recorded three big points in the fight to avoid relegation.

For his second game, Smith and his Norwich City players were unlucky to leave the home encounter against Wolves with one point. The two teams played out a goalless drawand Norwich City can count themselves unlucky to leave the game with a solitary point.

Mexico international Raul Jimenez is the star player in the Wolves team and he found decent opportunities hard to come by throughout the game. The Mexico national team striker was unable to replicate his heroics of last weekend when he scored the only goal to lead Wolves to an impressive 1-0 win at home to in-form West Ham United.

Jimenez has been amongst the goals this season since he recovered fully from the serious head injury sustained during the league clash at Arsenal in December 2020. The Mexico senior national team hitman has three goals and two assists in 13 Premier League matches this season.
